Our journey Beginning around 2015, our owner served as a volunteer fire chief in a small town. With a budget of approximately $40,000 a year, it was a challenge to obtain equipment for his department. With a team of about 15 members, affording a full set of turnouts, which cost around $2,000 at the time, was a significant struggle. He noticed that equipment businesses were focused solely on selling new equipment, disregarding how customers would finance their purchases. In 2019, Keith decided to establish a business catering to rural VFDs facing financial challenges. He began by acquiring and reselling equipment from his garage. The business expanded, and a year later, he constructed a 30x40 shop for storage. Soon after, he outgrew this space and leased a building in Poteau, OK. After nearly two years, in 2023, we acquired a in Wister, OK, which more than tripled our storage and workspace. We continue to expand our business with minimal debt to better serve our customers and provide the most competitive pricing.
